Databricks offers open-source healthcare skills for Genie Code

Databricks made Vital Skills available for installation in Genie Code, Genie One and Genie Code CLI, adding healthcare and life sciences playbooks to its coding agents. The open-source skills cover tasks including patient cohort creation, biomedical model deployment and workflow evaluation. The playbooks supply domain methods and deployment steps that general coding assistants can miss. Databricks says Genie Code completed all 27 checks on a TEDDY single-cell model deployment task with the relevant skill, compared with 19 of 27 without it. Missing steps in the baseline included pinned dependencies and a post-registration smoke test. The results come from Databricks' own evaluations.
