Salesforce's agreement to acquire military logistics software developer Rune Technologies is worth $375 million in cash and stock, Resilience Media reported. Rune builds AI software that helps the US military predict supply needs and manage logistics in the field. The acquisition would bring Rune's frontline logistics data into Missionforce, Salesforce's national security and defense business, extending its work beyond back-office planning to battlefield operations. Rune has raised $30 million since its founding in 2024 and was last valued at $127 million, according to PitchBook. Salesforce did not respond to TechCrunch's request for comment.
