Arm announces Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU with neural graphics hardware
Image: Primary Arm announced the Mali G2-Ultra NX, a mobile GPU that integrates neural accelerators into its graphics pipeline alongside a new execution engine and third-generation ray-tracing hardware. Arm says its Neural Dawn demonstration achieved up to four times higher performance efficiency and up to 70% lower external-memory traffic than native rendering. It also says the GPU supports neural image reconstruction and frame generation. Those results are Arm claims, and the source gives no device launch schedule.
