Googlebook launches without Samsung phone integrations

Googlebook launches without Samsung phone integrations Image: Primary
Googlebook's phone integration features will not support Samsung devices at launch, 9to5Google reported, citing Google's support page. The features also require Android 17, excluding phones running Android 16 or earlier. The integrations include instant hotspot, notification syncing, phone file access, continuing phone tasks on the laptop and streaming phone apps. Google says support will roll out to Samsung devices that support Android 17 over the coming weeks. Googlebook also lacks support for Slack's web app at launch.
