Google expands AI Mode advertising into international markets

Google expands AI Mode advertising into international markets Image: Primary
Google announced an international expansion of advertising in AI Mode during Alphabet's third-quarter earnings call, TechCrunch reports. It also announced multi-turn ads in AI Mode in the U.S., extending advertising within conversational search experiences. The expansion comes as Search revenue growth slowed to 12% year over year, from 17% in the second quarter and 19% in the first. Google chief business officer Philipp Schindler said sponsored product listings in AI Mode have click-through rates comparable to organic listings. That comparison measures clicks, rather than revenue from the new formats.
