Apple excludes EU from HomeView sales, citing Siri AI availability

Apple excludes EU from HomeView sales, citing Siri AI availability Image: Primary
Apple's newly unveiled HomeView smart display is available for preorder but will not be sold in the European Union for now. Apple cites the absence of Siri AI from iOS in the EU as the reason, 9to5Mac reports. Siri AI is available in the EU on macOS Golden Gate and visionOS 27. Those platforms are not designated as gatekeeper platforms under the Digital Markets Act, unlike iOS. Apple says it is working with the EU to find a path forward for HomeView sales.
