STT GDC agrees to exit planned 60MW Ho Chi Minh City data-center project
Image: DCD ST Telemedia Global Data Centres has agreed to sell its 65% stake in VTH Software Development to Vietnamese telecoms firm VNG, subject to approvals and completion conditions.
VTH holds land designated for the planned 60MW STT VNG Ho Chi Minh City 2 data center, which had been expected to go live in the first half of 2026. STT GDC said the site did not meet its investment and commercial requirements. VNG said it will take full control of VTH and may use the site for other business initiatives.
