Zealand Pharma Establishes U.S. Research Hub in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Expand Drug Discovery Capabilities and Accelerate Medicine Creation

Zealand Pharma announced the establishment of a new research hub in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The facility at 35 CambridgePark Drive will serve as the company's primary U.S. address and is expected to be operational from September 2026. The hub expands the company's global research capabilities Adam Steensberg, president and chief executive officer, said the Cambridge hub represents a tangible commitment that complements research in Denmark and advances the company's ambition to become a leader in obesity and metabolic health. Utpal Singh, chief scientific officer, said the site will allow metabolic expertise from Denmark and multi-modal platform capabilities from Cambridge to come together to deepen discovery and move from idea to clinic faster. The site will include laboratories, office space, meeting rooms and collaborative areas. Zealand Pharma is actively recruiting for the location. The company is headquartered in Copenhagen with research operations in Søborg and Copenhagen.
