The Environmental Protection Agency finalized repeal of Biden-era greenhouse-gas requirements for U.S. power plants and proposed eliminating remaining limits on the sector's climate pollution, according to The Verge. EPA says the finalized repeal would save $310 billion and the additional proposed actions would reduce direct compliance costs by $370 million. The proposed changes will be open for public comment for 45 days and are expected to face legal challenges.
