Amazon reportedly shifts resources from most Nova models to frontier effort

Amazon reportedly shifts resources from most Nova models to frontier effort Image: Primary
Amazon is scaling back most Nova AI models and reorganizing its development teams to focus on higher-priority work, Bloomberg reported, as cited by Futurism. Insiders said text, video and image models have been placed in a maintenance state with only the resources needed to sustain them. Labor and computing power are instead being directed toward a frontier-model effort led by Pieter Abbeel. The affected Nova models remain technically supported, despite the reduction in development resources.
