Claude's Google Workspace connector adds approved Gmail sending
Image: Primary Anthropic's Claude can now draft, reply to and forward Gmail messages through its Google Workspace integration, NewsBytes reported.
The update expands the connector from reading and summarizing messages to sending email, while retaining a user approval step before an automated reply is sent. The integration can also manage Google Drive files through prompts, including sharing, moving and deleting them. NewsBytes said the Gmail capability is rolling out to Claude users through the Workspace integration, and Claude Cowork is available on mobile and web for paid plans.
