Dell adds shared context and agent controls to AI Data Platform

Dell adds shared context and agent controls to AI Data Platform Image: Primary
Dell is adding features this week to its AI Data Platform that give AI agents shared definitions, relationships between enterprise data and rules governing their access and token spending, The Next Platform reported. A semantic layer supplies a searchable glossary, while a knowledge graph connects structured and unstructured data using metadata, lineage and query history. Enterprises can use these features to create agents focused on particular topics, with limits on the data they can see and the tokens they can spend. Dell is also adding Nvidia's cuDF library and Apache Arrow to support GPU data processing and queries where data resides. Dell says shared context reduces repeated processing; those cost benefits are vendor claims.
