OpenAI offers GPT-Rosalind-6 through screened research access

OpenAI Deployment Safety Hub social sharing image. Image: Primary
OpenAI says it is offering GPT-Rosalind-6 Research to qualified scientists, research institutes, companies and government partners for biology, drug discovery and translational medicine. The model uses the same weights as GPT-6 Astra but has fewer refusals on biological queries that can serve both legitimate and harmful purposes. Applicants undergo reviews of proposed uses, security controls and governance practices. OpenAI says the model still refuses biological weaponization requests and retains refusals on other safety topics. Access is restricted to approved applicants.
