MAASH secures €12.15m for mycoprotein demonstration plant
Image: Primary Brussels-based fermentation company MAASH has secured a €12.15 million package of equity investment, public support and a loan to advance mycoprotein production. The company says the funds will support launch of a 12 m³ demonstration plant in Carling-Saint-Avold, France, and prepare a later scale-up to 10,000 tonnes of annual industrial production. MAASH acquired the former Metabolic Explorer site two years ago and says it is moving from project development to execution.
