Members of the Open Secure AI Alliance, now more than 120 organizations, are developing guidelines to strengthen agentic AI cybersecurity as Black Hat begins in Las Vegas, NVIDIA said in a company blog post. The Linux Foundation shared a Request for Comments on Shared AI Findings Exchange (SAFE), a proposed set of guidelines meant to turn agentic cybersecurity incidents into shared protection. NVIDIA said NVIDIA, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Hugging Face and Red Hat are among members working with the Linux Foundation on the initial proposal. SAFE includes proposals to confidentially collect and analyze AI incidents and near misses, inform those impacted, identify recurring control failures, and publish evidence-based operating recommendations. NVIDIA also described open stack contributions including the NVIDIA Labs Object-Oriented Agent research harness on GitHub, the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime that restricts what an agent can see and do, and open model families such as NVIDIA Nemotron for agentic AI and NVIDIA Cosmos for physical AI.
