Ambi Robotics prepares systems for eight facilities before peak season

Ambi Robotics prepares systems for eight facilities before peak season Image: Primary
Ambi Robotics is installing new systems at eight facilities before peak shipping season, chief operating officer Stephen McKinley told The Robot Report. Most of the sites will use a new variation of its existing AmbiSort system. The company expects its customers' peak-season volume to increase 9% to 10% from last year. It is deploying spare parts closer to customer sites and offering additional operator training to support throughput and reduce downtime. McKinley said Ambi retrains its AI using operational data, then tests changes in a controlled environment before deploying them across the field. Its installed systems do not continually improve themselves.
