YouTube announced that eligible U.S. creators can tag Amazon products in Shorts, long-form videos, and livestreams and receive commissions on completed purchases. The integration brings Amazon into YouTube's Shopping Affiliate Program, replacing the need for creators to place Associates links in video descriptions. Product tags can be viewed globally, although the tagging feature is initially limited to eligible U.S. creators with linked YouTube and Amazon affiliate accounts.
