Ecovacs cuts robot vacuum prices by up to $450 as tariffs stabilize
Image: Primary Robot vacuum maker Ecovacs has enacted permanent price cuts across most of its U.S. lineup, with savings reaching $450 on certain models. The company said the reductions reflect the stabilization of U.S.-China trade relations and the removal of what it called a tariff-driven premium.
The price drops took effect on April 28 and cover nine models. Ecovacs said it is the first Chinese robot vacuum brand to proactively reduce prices following the easing of trade tensions.
The cuts apply to manufacturer-suggested retail prices, meaning actual sale prices could fall even lower during promotions. The company noted that other brands have not yet announced similar reductions.
