Google Cloud introduces managed Wiz security sensor preview for GKE

Google Cloud introduces managed Wiz security sensor preview for GKE Image: Primary
Google Cloud introduced a preview of a managed Wiz Runtime Sensor add-on for Google Kubernetes Engine, covering Standard and Autopilot clusters. Google says GKE handles sensor deployment, credential injection and lifecycle updates, reducing the work required to operate runtime threat detection. The sensor monitors system calls, processes, network connections and file access for suspicious activity. Credentials stored in Secret Manager sync automatically to sensor pods, while organization policies can reject creation of clusters without the add-on enabled. Sensor updates run independently of cluster and node updates. Existing clusters need Workload Identity Federation and Secret Manager secret sync enabled to activate the add-on.
