OpenAI has increased its bug bounty rewards, with exceptional critical discoveries eligible for up to $172,000 including bonuses, a note article reports. Critical vulnerabilities in ChatGPT, Codex and the API Platform carry base rewards up to $30,000; particularly outstanding critical discoveries can receive base rewards up to $100,000. The program adds report-quality multipliers and a five-tier loyalty system. New ranges apply to submissions awaiting reward decisions. Researchers paid during the 30 days before the announcement will receive the difference where the new base and loyalty calculation produces a higher payment.
