Windows 11 24H2 Home and Pro reached the end of support on October 13, Microsoft announced. The October 2026 monthly security update is their last; devices running those editions will no longer receive monthly security or non-security preview updates. Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 also reached its final update. Microsoft advises users to upgrade to Windows 11 26H2, which is rolling out in phases to eligible devices and will remain supported for consumers until October 2029. Windows 11 24H2 Enterprise and Education retain mainstream support until October 12, 2027.
