A Brazilian labor court fined two lawyers 10% of their client's award, amounting to approximately $16,000, after finding hidden instructions aimed at manipulating its AI tool, Tom's Hardware reported. The filing used white text on a white background to tell the system to avoid challenging documents. The court held the attorneys who signed the complaint responsible and referred them to the state bar association and the Regional Labor Court's Internal Affairs Department. The plaintiff won by default because the defendant did not respond, so the attempted manipulation was unnecessary to the outcome.
