OpenAI says ChatGPT Work can now complete supported signed-in website tasks through a cloud browser without the model seeing or storing users' login credentials. The feature is available on mobile and web to Plus, Pro and Business users. Users enter credentials through a secure form, may need to approve sites and complete two-factor authentication, and can choose site-access settings. OpenAI says an additional model reviews sign-in requests for phishing or deception, while ChatGPT asks for confirmation before hard-to-reverse or financially consequential actions. Some websites may restrict AI-agent access.
