The index ranks models across multiple dimensions including intelligence quality, pricing, output speed, latency, end-to-end response time and context window size. The top five models on the intelligence index are Claude Opus 5 (Adaptive Reasoning, Max Effort) at 61, Claude Opus 5 (Adaptive Reasoning, Xhigh Effort) at 60, Claude Fable 5 (Adaptive Reasoning, Max Effort, Opus 4.8 Fallback) at 60, GPT-5.6 Sol (max) at 59 and Claude Opus 5 (Adaptive Reasoning, High Effort) at 59. Mercury 2 recorded the highest output speed at 901.6 tokens per second. Nova Micro was the most affordable option at $0.03 per 1 million tokens blended. GLM-5.2 (max) ranked as the highest open weights model with a score of 51. Performance metrics were measured directly using standardized prompts across 586 models.
