City Therapeutics filed a registration statement for an initial public offering of its common stock on September 24. The clinical-stage biotechnology company has applied to list on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol CTY. Its preliminary prospectus leaves the share count and proposed price range blank. City develops treatments that use RNA interference to suppress production of proteins linked to disease. Its lead candidate, CITY-FXI, is in early clinical development; its other programs are earlier stage. The company has not completed a clinical trial or generated product sales.
