Vercel adds Reflection Beam to AI Gateway with temporary free access

Vercel adds Reflection Beam to AI Gateway with temporary free access Image: Primary
Vercel has made Reflection AI's Beam available through AI Gateway, with free use during a limited launch period. Previously offered under the stealth/cat-jam name, the open-weight reasoning model supports coding and agent tasks, tool calling, structured outputs and a 1M-token context window. Its weights carry an Apache 2.0 license. Users can choose reflection/beam, which will automatically move to paid pricing when the free period ends, or reflection/beam-free, which will stop serving at that point. Vercel also provides setup through its CLI for coding agents including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
