Microsoft rolls out Windows 11 block for crashing RGB driver
Image: Primary Microsoft began rolling out a fix that blocks the inpoutx64.sys driver on affected Windows 11 devices after users reported crashes, game-launch failures and freezes. Microsoft said the problem was associated with RGB-lit peripherals or components using drivers or code with similar names. The rollout began August 26 at 6 p.m. Pacific time, requires a restart and initially targets devices with the driver enabled and ARC Raiders installed.
