Anthropic updates Claude Code Projects for persistent task context

Anthropic redesigned Projects in Claude Code to let developers coordinate related coding tasks in one continuing workspace, according to The News International. The updated feature keeps project context across tasks instead of requiring developers to re-brief the system in each conversation. The change is intended to help the tool track how assignments affect one another as a codebase changes. The report says persistent context can narrow the risk that a change in one task quietly breaks another, but it does not eliminate errors.
