Incarna deploys per-call AI inference payments with AWS spending controls

Incarna deploys per-call AI inference payments with AWS spending controls Image: Primary
Incarna has put a system for agents to pay BlockRun for individual AI model calls into production, AWS says. Amazon Bedrock AgentCore payments signs transactions from customer-owned wallets and enforces spending limits outside the model. BlockRun routes requests to more than 90 models from more than 15 providers without requiring separate provider subscriptions. The integration uses x402, a protocol that lets an agent respond to a payment request with authorization to pay. Transactions settle in USDC on the Base network. Across the beta, agents processed over 1,000 payments of $0.001 to $0.05 per call. Customers fund the wallets and delegate signing permission; payment sessions impose spending ceilings and expiry times.
