Apple starts selling M6 Mac mini and M5 Ultra Mac Studio

Apple made its new Mac mini and Mac Studio desktops available through its stores and online channels on September 22. The Mac mini starts at $899 with an M6 processor, while the Mac Studio starts at $2,499 with M5 Max and $5,499 with M5 Ultra. The Mac Studio can be configured with as much as 512GB of unified memory and 1.2TB per second of memory bandwidth, and Thunderbolt 5 allows multiple systems to be clustered for distributed AI inference. The 512GB configuration will not arrive until late October, and Apple's comparative performance figures are company claims.
