HackerRank makes Chakra AI interviewer generally available

HackerRank makes Chakra AI interviewer generally available Image: Primary
HackerRank is making its Chakra AI interviewer generally available to customers on Monday after six months in beta, TechCrunch reports. The company says the system conducted more than 500,000 interviews during testing, including trials by Snowflake, Snorkel and Capgemini. Candidates work on a real-world code repository with an AI assistant while Chakra observes their work and asks follow-up questions about their choices. The system evaluates how candidates frame problems, judge AI output and guide it toward a solution. HackerRank says Chakra can combine a recruiter screen, take-home assessment and engineer follow-up into one interview. It scores candidates; humans retain the final hiring decision.
