Google search links shift to opaque redirect format, Autom says

google.com/goto: Google's anti-scraping update Image: Primary
Google Search is rewriting organic-result links to a google.com/goto redirect format rather than exposing destination URLs in result HTML, Autom.dev reported. The vendor said the redirect's URL parameter cannot be decoded offline and that resolving each result requires a request to Google to retrieve its Location header. Autom said it updated its search pipeline to return destination URLs without requiring customer integration changes.
