Nvidia releases Topograph for topology-aware GPU scheduling
Image: Primary Nvidia released Topograph, an open-source toolkit that discovers how GPUs and network fabrics are connected and converts that information into formats used by Kubernetes, Slurm and Slinky. It can refresh topology after watched cluster changes, allowing schedulers to favor nearby GPUs instead of spreading communication-heavy jobs across shared links.
The toolkit supports integrations with Google Cloud, Lambda, Nebius, Nscale and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, plus on-premises InfiniBand and Spectrum-X systems. Topograph reports observed rather than intended topology, and fabric changes become visible only when a provider detects them and triggers regeneration.
