AWS adds Moonshot AI's Kimi K3.1 Pro to Amazon Bedrock

AWS has made Moonshot AI's Kimi K3.1 Pro (Highspeed) available on Amazon Bedrock for tasks including coding and document processing. Customers can access it through cross-Region inference in all AWS Regions where Bedrock is available. Moonshot AI describes the open-weight model as natively multimodal, with a 1-million-token context window, and reports improvements in coding, 3D creation and financial research. AWS says the model runs within the same security boundary as proprietary models on Bedrock and supports explicit prompt caching to reduce latency and input costs. The announcement provides no quantified speed or cost comparison.
