Indian brokerage and fintech company Definedge Securities raised Rs 22 crore in an equity Pre-Series A round, taking its total funding to Rs 30 crore. Existing backers Nitin Agarwal and D. Prasad participated alongside new investors Anant Jain and Sachin Kasera. Definedge plans to spend the capital on trading infrastructure, product development, distribution and margin funding. Its products include tools for technical analysis, options analytics and algorithmic trading without coding. The company also plans to increase its use of AI and automation. Those expansions are planned uses of the funding; Definedge has not reported their completion.
