Snowflake proposes Orange Business partnership for French data and AI platform

Snowflake proposes Orange Business partnership for French data and AI platform Image: Primary
Snowflake announced plans to collaborate with Orange Business on a data and AI platform for France, using sovereign infrastructure such as Bleu. Under the proposed arrangement, European teams subject to EU law would handle administration, monitoring, support and incident response, while customers would contract directly with Orange Business. The platform would use the Apache Iceberg table format on S3-compatible storage to support continued data access if provider relationships change. The arrangement and associated capabilities remain subject to development, partner agreements, regulatory qualification processes and commercial finalisation.
