Meta says it resolved unprompted audio recording on Ray-Ban glasses

Meta says it resolved unprompted audio recording on Ray-Ban glasses Image: Primary
Meta says it has resolved an issue that caused Ray-Ban smart glasses to invoke Meta AI and record audio without a user prompt. Users on Reddit reported recordings starting without the "Hey Meta" wake word; some said the wake word was not even enabled. The glasses still illuminated an LED on the inner frame during recordings. Meta confirmed the resolution to Android Authority and said users can review and delete voice logs through settings. Separately, the company is rolling out a mandatory update that disables the camera if someone tampers with the LED privacy light.
