Nvidia opens courseware hub and expands European research compute partnerships

Nvidia opens courseware hub and expands European research compute partnerships Image: Primary
Nvidia has launched a freely downloadable, openly licensed courseware hub for accelerated computing and deep learning, the company said as it joined the European Commission's AI in Science Enablers Initiative. The materials require no enrollment or fees and can be adapted for university courses and supercomputing center training. Nvidia also described partnerships connecting startups and small and medium-sized businesses to European computing infrastructure. Sweden AI Factory announced access to its infrastructure and expertise for Nvidia Inception participants, while Spain's BSC AI Factory is rolling out its first full accelerator program after a pilot. These access programs accompany infrastructure expansion; the 35 European supercomputers Nvidia cited are still in development.
