CarbonAI raises $12M for commercial property lending agents

CarbonAI raises $12M for commercial property lending agents Image: Primary
CarbonAI has raised $12M in a round led by Cowboy Ventures for AI agents that handle commercial real estate loan underwriting, due diligence and monitoring after closing. Timber Grove Ventures, Bling Capital and Max Ventures also participated. The New York company sells only in the US. Its agents extract figures from rent rolls, leases, financial statements and legal documents, build underwriting models, draft memos and flag risks. Each number links to its source document, while decisions requiring human judgment go to lenders. CarbonAI reports up to 90% time savings on selected underwriting tasks, without providing a methodology.
