Claims open in Apple's proposed $250 million Siri-delay settlement

U.S. consumers can now file claims in Apple's proposed $250 million settlement of litigation over delays to a more personalized Siri. Eligibility covers people who bought an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone in the United States from June 10, 2024, through March 29, 2025, and claims are due December 21, 2026. The expected payment is $25 per eligible device, subject to participation, with a maximum of $95. Apple admits no wrongdoing. A final approval hearing is scheduled for September 29, 2027, and payments would begin at least 60 days later, so opening the claims process does not make the settlement or payouts final.
