Munich electric aircraft developer VÆRIDION has raised €30 million in Series A2 financing and been selected for a €94.5 million European Commission Innovation Fund grant, EU-Startups reports. SHIFT Invest and Invest-NL co-led the equity round. The investment will fund its first certification-conforming aircraft and propulsion testing. The grant would support a final assembly facility at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport, but remains subject to an agreement expected in 2027. VÆRIDION targets its first conforming prototype for late 2027 or early 2028 and its first Microliner delivery for 2030.
