Collective has raised $100M to expand its financial services for one-person businesses, comprising a $40M Series B and $60M from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund. General Catalyst, QED Investors and Gradient Ventures led the Series B. The Customer Value Fund finances customer acquisition and receives repayment from revenue those customers generate. Collective combines company formation, bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll and tax filing, and says AI answers half of support requests without a human. The new money will fund marketing and new banking and insurance products. Collective did not disclose its revenue or customer count.
