Google plans Beam video booths at 20 USO locations

Google plans Beam video booths at 20 USO locations Image: Primary
Google announced plans to bring HP Dimension booths using its Beam 3D video communication technology to 20 United Service Organizations locations globally. The expansion follows a pilot for service members and their families in Poland and Texas. The next locations include Grafenwöehr, Germany, and Fort Hood, Texas, alongside the two existing pilot locations. The booths extend access to the technology beyond its corporate and co-working deployments, giving military families another way to communicate across distances.
