Checkout.com partners with Mollie to expand into in-person payments Image: Primary
Checkout.com has announced an expansion into in-person payments through a long-term partnership with Mollie. The service will launch first in the UK and the EEA, followed by the US. Merchants will be able to process online and physical-store payments through the same acquiring relationship, API, contract and settlement infrastructure. Checkout.com says businesses can connect existing terminals or choose other hardware suppliers. Mollie will contribute terminal expertise, software and merchant relationships while retaining control over its customer experience and hardware strategy. A shared dashboard will bring transactions from both channels together for payment teams and reconciliation.
