EuroHPC has signed a procurement contract for LUMI-AI, a €387.8 million AI supercomputer to be built by Bull in Kajaani, Finland, The Next Web reported. The system is expected to provide about 10 times the AI capacity of the existing LUMI supercomputer and nearly double its conventional high-performance computing capacity. Finland, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Norway and Poland will help fund it, with deployment scheduled for the second half of 2027.
