The Raspberry Pi 5 with 16GB of RAM now costs $385 after an $80 increase, The Verge reported. The 16GB versions of Compute Module 5 also rose by $40 and now cost between $375 and $415. CEO Eben Upton attributed the increases to a lack of alternative supply for 16GB DRAM and shortages of other components. The 16GB Pi 5 launched at $120. Upton suggested lower-memory configurations or older models and said the company plans to reverse increases when memory costs fall.
