Vercel Connect adds static-IP routing for restricted providers

Vercel Connect adds static-IP routing for restricted providers Image: Primary
Vercel says Connect now supports Secure Compute, allowing connectors to reach providers with IP allowlists, including Salesforce and Snowflake. When enabled, provider requests use a selected network's dedicated static IP addresses instead of Connect's shared addresses. Requests to obtain and refresh access tokens follow that route; applications' direct API routing stays unchanged. The setting applies to a supported connector and all projects using it. Initial connector creation and provider discovery requests still connect directly to providers. If the selected network becomes unavailable, routed requests fail rather than falling back to shared IP addresses.
