Bain Capital Ventures raises $1.6 billion AI fund

Bain Capital Ventures has raised a $1.6 billion fund for early-stage companies across AI infrastructure, software, robotics and science. Partner Slater Stich said the firm is targeting businesses built for what it calls "life after AGI," and expects knowledge work to be transformed first.
