Vercel adds separate firewall controls for AI crawlers and assistants

Vercel says customers can now log or block AI crawlers separately from AI assistants through its Firewall AI Bots ruleset, available on all plans. Site operators can block bots collecting content for indexing and model training while allowing assistants to retrieve pages in response to user actions or search queries. Customers configure an action for each category through project firewall settings or the Vercel CLI, then publish the changes. Vercel updates the managed rules as new bots are added.
