Together Link connects existing coding tools to open models

Together AI introduced Together Link, which the company says connects open models to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, OpenCode and Pi using a Together AI API key. Users can switch back to native closed models with one command. Its automatic router selects a model from the first task and routes once per session, preserving prompt caching. Without an Anthropic key, it chooses between GLM 5.3 and GLM 5.3 Flash; with one, it chooses between Opus 5.5 and GLM 5.3. Billing uses existing Together serverless pay-as-you-go plans or credit packs, without a separate contract. A session tracker compares spending with an estimated Opus 5.5 cost.
